Double Breasted mod fanzine
The internet is good for many things, but one downside is the negative impact it has had on fanzines. But there are still a few about - and the newest addition is Double Breasted.
Double Breasted promises to be The fanzine for Mod and 60s-inspired cool and should be available to coincide with the Glasgow Mod Weekender, with the fanzine going bi-annually (December/June), then hopefully quarterly.
Co-Editors are Sharon Armit and Jennie Baillie - Sharon has been on the scene for 25 years, with 9 of those being spent in Italy. Perhaps not as active on the scene as Sharon, but a mod of 25 years, Jennie, along with Husband Colin, is part of the Friday Street team and behind the flyers, advertising and pr for the club.
You can pick up the fanzine for £1 at the weekender, them by mail order afterwards (or if you run a club, get in touch if you can help with distribution). Listing details and article submissions are welcome, drop the team a line at doublebreasted@hotmail.com to get in touch or visit the site below.
