eBay watch: 1960s Tiger Beat! magazine

Just noticed this quirky little thing on eBay - a copy of Tiger Beat! magazine from the 1960s.

This July 1966 edition includes a special 'magazine inside a magazine' called 'Mod Mag', 19 pages edited in England and including something called From London With Luv, packing an exclusive column on 'the latest pop happenings' by Chrissie Shrimpton, covering hanging out with the Stones to shopping at Biba. Essentially a look at 'swinging London' for a US audience.

There's also news on the likes of The Yardbirds, The Who, The Kinks and the Small Faces. You'll learn nothing new, but it's likely to be an entertaining and unintentionally amusing read. Current price is £6.50.
