eBay watch: 1961 Vespa Sportique

A tasty-looking scooter on eBay right now, with this 1961 Vespa Sportique, which is currently at an equally-tasty price.

According to the seller, the scooter was imported from Italy and authentically restored by Scooterworks in London in 2004. Since then it has been maintained by Scooterworks and is being sold with MOT and tax until July 2011. It has also covered less than 4500 miles since the restoration.

Condition, unsurprisingly, is described as 'excellent', it has a 150cc engine and if you pick it up, you'll also get the rear seat, a matching silver open face helmet, some books, a Vespa DVD, the original Italian number plate and all the relevant receipts. Right now it's up for £770.
