New band: The Eviltones
Not exactly a completely new band, but we've not yet featured The Eviltones - so here we go.
Look away now soul and jazz lovers, The Eviltones are pure 60s garage - noisy, chuggin' guitars, primitive organ, a snarling vocal and catchy sub-three minute tunes. They sound impressive on MySpace, I suspect things get a whole lot better live for this Nottingham-based four-piece.
Talking of which, the band are indeed doing some gigs all over the UK and Europe right now, including Get A Buzz!at Under Solo, 20 Inverness Street, NW1 7HJ. Tube: Camden Town on Thursday 22nd April. Full details on the band's MySpace site.

The Eviltones are indeed one of the best garage rock bands in UK. I was well impressed when saw their live show at Stages Head in London last year.
