Mod Chronicles 2 launch update
We've been previewing this for over a year, but various problems have pushed back the release date for I'm Not Like Everybody Else (aka The Mod Chronicles Volume 2) by Enamel Verguren. Although we did mention last month that a launch event was imminent - that's still the case.
That book launch is still on Monday 8th February 2010 at 5pm, taking place at the BBC Club, 99 Great Portland Street, in the west end of London. According to Manu, the book has now gone to print (so should be available to buy at the event), with other sales being offered via a custom website hopefully at the end of this week and also on eBay for wider distribution. But it will not be sold on Amazon initially, although this could change 'very soon'. When it all goes live, we'll let you know.
If you missed previous pieces, Mod Chronicles 2 takes the story on from This Is A Modern Life and into the 1990s, taking in the traditional mod scene, along with the rise of Acid Jazz, Britpop and their impact on mod as we know it today.
