New 60s mod photos now online

Johnbailey

A big thanks to John Bailey, who has sent us an initial selection of photos taken across 1965 and 1966.

John describes himself as a 'mod/scooter boy' and the photos he has sent in are in both black and white and unusually for the era, in colour. Indeed, the one above is an example of one of the colour snaps, a shot taken outside the flat of his good friend Rod Brosse (aka Rod Lynton) of cult mod/psych band Rupert's People.

Anyway, check out the images at the site right now. If you want more 1960s photos, you can also find a general 60s gallery and the Caxton Mod Club of '67 also online. And of course, if you have photos of any era, past or present, that you want featuring on the site, please drop us a line.
