Purple Heart Club in York
he Purple Heart Club has found a new permanent home in York, specifically at The Bay Horse, Marygate, York.
With the backing of the landlord there (an old mod), the night has gone monthly on the second Friday of every month, offering up soul, R&B, indie, beat, ska and garage from DJs Eddie Wainwright, Dan Guest, Andy Ingram and Gary Brown.
It;s £2 on the door to get in, things run from 8pm until 1am and of course, everything is played on 100 per cent vinyl.
