eBay watch: Quadrophenia novel for £1

Do a search for Alan Fletcher's Quadrophenia novel on eBay and you'll find one for a laughable £130 and one (as I type) for 99p with three days to go. I know which one I would buy.

Its true value in the current market is probably around the £20 mark, so the 99p copy is something of a bargain - although I suspect it just might rise a little after this post.

For the uninitiated, this is the pulp novel version of the Quadrophenia story by Alan Fletcher (author of the Mod Crop trilogy). It was a cheapie when it came out, but as it's never been reprinted and many original copies have been destroyed of defaced, it's harder to find as each year passes.
