Viva (2008) reviewed

Viva3 Over at Cinedelica, we have a review of Viva, which will be doing the rounds at arthouse cinemas from next week and will be released on DVD in June.

The work of Anne Biller, Viva is a tribute/parody to the low budget US exploitation flicks of the late 60s/early 70s - think Russ Meyer for the obvious reference point. Biller herself plays Viva, a bored suburban housewife who takes a walk on the wild side - as a call girl, model, nude theatre extra - you name it, she's up for it.

Bright colours, cheesy music, bad hair and even worse fashions - they're all in there. If you want to read the full review, Groovy Bob has put one together, you can read it via the link below.
