Mani's Beat Club in Manchester

If you're in the Manchester area on a Sunday and want to take your mind off the forthcoming working week, maybe The Beat Club will do the trick.

It's the brainchild of Mani (ex Stones Roses) and is scheduled to take place on the 3rd Sunday of every month at Cord Bar in Manchester's Northern Quarter.

Kicking off from 4pm and running until last orders the 'mod inspired' night will feature a broad playlist of 60s mod classics, northern soul, psych, garage, freakbeat, original r&b, bluebeat and ska, spun by Mani, a rotating list of guests and 'the occasional musical superstar'.

The first day/night should be on 18th January, although this is still to be confirmed. When it is, we'll let you know the full details (and hopefully have a flyer).
