New Aertex slim-fit button-downs

Aertex

Vintage Manchester label Aertex has come back on the radar in the last year or so with some retro-styled polo shirts and slim-fit shirts, something it looks to be continuing with its new autumn/winter 2008 collection.

According to the company's latest press shot, it will be offering 'razor sharp' check shirts made from the finest Italian fabrics, with that slim cut and button-down collar.

Expect red tartans, vintage yellows, warm greens, ginghams and darker colours, all selling for around £50 from its online store or from Urban Outfitters, American Classics, Oi Polloi and Ran. Probably best to try before you buy though - some people love them, others are less than keen.
