Weller and The Rifles on Isle of Wight
Paul Weller and his mod punk disciples The Rifles top the bill at a mini-festival on the Isle Of Wight this summer.
The show takes place at Osbourne House in East Cowes on Saturday July 26th. The stage will be set on the grass outside Osbourne House, recreating the 'picnic-friendly' gigs they hosted there in 2005-6. Also on the bill is Arno Carstens, and providing musical accompaniment throughout the day will be the Hipshaker DJs. The arena opens at 6pm and the show starts at 7.30. General admission is £32.50 (plus booking fees), with tickets available online here and via telephone on 08705 321321.
In other Paul Weller news his limited edition photo book 'A Thousand Things' was released this week alongside new album' 22 Dreams'. A special party was held at the Paul Smith boutique in Covent Garden to launch the book. See details on the book and photos from the launch at the relaunched official Weller website here.
