The Mummies/Untamed Youth reunite

Late 80s/early 90s American garage bands The Mummies and Untamed Youth have both reunited to play one-off shows at the Funtastic Dracula Carnival in Valencia, Spain.

The Funtastic Dracula festival is now in its 4th year, with this years event taking place on October 10th and 11th. The Mummies have not performed together since 1993; the Untamed Youth for a decade. Both are highly-revered for their frenetic live shows, and for people of a certain generation this reformation will be bigger news than the recent Sonics gigs. The support bill is also very strong, featuring as it does King Khan and the BBQ Show, Palookaville, Muck and the Mires, Theee Bat, and from the UK Thee Vicars and Armitage Shanks. There are around a dozen DJs also playing, flying in from all around Spain, Europe, and even the US.
