Ronnie Spector live in London

Ronettes singer and one-time spouse of the Wall Of Sound man Ronnie Spector has announced a one-off intimate London show for this autumn.Ronnie

The 'original bad girl of rock'n'roll' and her band will play Islington Carling Academy on Saturday September 27th. There does not seem to be any particular promotional reason for the show, as her last album ‘The Last of the Rock Stars’ was released back in 2006 and a new one hasn't been announced (as yet). Regardless, you can expect songs from her long career, including the Ronettes classics 'Be My Bay', 'Baby I Love You', and 'Walking In The Rain'. Tickets cost £27.50 plus booking fees and can be bought from ticketweb.co.uk and seetickets.com, or by phoning 0844 4772000.

You can visit Ronnie's official website here (although it isn't very up to date).
