Solomon Burke album and dates

Soul & bluesman Solomon Burke has a new album out next month and has UK live dates to promote it as well.

Like A Fire, out June 16th, features a number of star turns, none more so than guitar hero Eric Clapton, who has written the title track as well as sharing songwriting credits with Burke on 'Thank You'. Other artists who have written or played on the "wonder boy preacher"’s new album include Ben Harper, Jesse Harris and Keb' Mo.

Burke, now 68, plays two UK dates this year, at Glastonbury Festival on June 29th, and at London's Barbican on July 3rd. Tickets for the Barbican show cost between £20 and £30 and are available here .
