The Buzz bids farewell to the Soundhaus

Northampton’s long-running '60s-based club The Buzz says its goodbyes to The Soundhaus next month, as the venue is to close.

The Buzz has been providing the Midlands with "mod soul and rock'n'roll" at the Soundhaus for the last nine years. However the venue owner is not renewing the lease as new property developments on its doorstep threatens its' ability to continue as a late-night music venue (sadly very much a trend in the UK right now). So on Friday 9th May The Buzz team will have a farewell party, with Smart Phil (Sweet but Deadly) as guest DJ on the night providing the r'n'b, soul and ska dancers. The Buzz hopes to continue in the near future at The New Roadmender. As always check The Buzz Myspace and website for updates.
