The Modfather - new version and play

Modfather_3 Hopefully you read our review of the David Lines' excellent The Modfather: My Life With Paul Weller book earlier this year - a real-life tale of growing up with an obsession with Paul Weller. If you didn't get a copy, we've been told by the author that it's being reissued early next year at a cheaper price point with a new cover and with a few words to accompany it from Paul Weller himself.

In addition, David also informs us that it is being adapted for a stage play by himself and David Nobbs (creator of The Fall And Rise Of Reginald Perrin). The play should open at next year's Edinburgh Festival, beofre transferring to the West  End. More news on that as we get it.
